WATCH The First Episode Of Constantine: City Of Demons

Constantine is back, baby!

Though Matt Ryan’s debut as John Constantine was cut short after NBC’s series Constantine was canceled during its first season, producing only 13 episodes, Ryan, and Constantine are making a come-back.

Not only is Matt Ryan set to return as John Constantine in the season finale of Legends of Tomorrow, as well as becoming a regular in the series’ fourth season, but the animated series Constantine: City of Demons is now officially on CW Seed!

In fact, you can watch the first video on YouTube now, which I have included below:

If you couldn’t tell, Constantine: City of Demons is a shorter format show that is very serialized, making for one long narrative. So far, the first five episodes are all on CW Seed, with more coming, if you want to get your Constantine on.

Though I have only watched the episode posted above, it is a treat that Constantine gets to go full R with its violence, just like the extraordinary DC animated film Justice League Dark, also starring Ryan as the “Master of the Dark Arts.”

With this, and his beefed up role on Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s most accurately cast character is certainly making a comeback. Maybe, just maybe, if DC ever makes their live-action Justice League Dark film, DC Entertainment will realize that not only is Ryan cheaper than Colin Farrell or Ewan McGregor, he is actually a killer John Constantine!

Good riddance, Keanu Reeves.
