Wile E. Coyote Film Coming From Warner Bros

It looks like Wile E. Coyote may finally what he’s been after all these years, the Roadrunner? No of course not, that will likely never happen. However the company from which Wile E. Coyote obtains all his failed equipment that he uses in pursuit of the Roadrunner, may have to pay up. Warner Bros is developing a Wile. E Coyote film titled Coyote vs Acme.

While no details of the plot were given, the title implies the famous coyote is going to be bringing a long overdue lawsuit against the Acme company. The film has already snagged brothers, Jon and Josh Silberman (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) to pen the script, with Chris McKay set to produce.

I always felt sympathy for Wile E. Coyote, being a kid and not knowing better, I always assumed there would be an episode where Wile’s efforts to catch the roadrunner would prove fruitful, of course, that didn’t happen, but most of us continued watching in hopes that someday it would. While there’s no official word form the studio about what the film would be about, a lawsuit against Acme for their sub-par products would, in my opinion, be a great idea.
