WrestleMania 35 Happened, Here’s How It Turned Out!

It is the annual “showcase of the immortals.” The Mecca of sports entertainment where the WWE’s top superstars put on an hours-long extravaganza. A modern theatrical performance in the form of punches, grapples, and slams in a squared-circle. In what used to be an event just over three hours long, the event has evolved into a seven-hour epic (including the two-hour “kickoff show”).

It was an honor for me to live-tweet the event for LRM, combining my enjoyment of entertainment news with my longtime love of professional wrestler. As a loyal supporter of WWE’s Attitude Era (roughly 1997-2002), my focus on the industry has fluctuated throughout the years—from watching religiously every week to only catching the latest developments online and through social media. I will say that with what occurred yesterday at WrestleMania 35, I’ll be paying a bit more attention from here on.
