The CW has been laying the groundwork for a crossover event that is a spinoff from their Arrow and The Flash series. Now we’ve got our first official look at DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which will have a midseason premiere this fall. The network is coming off of their most-watched season in seven years, and is looking to build off of its two DC titles in an inventive way.
Here’s the first look at DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, followed by an official synopsis of what we should expect later this year:
When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW stars Victor Garber (“The Flash,†“Aliasâ€); Brandon Routh (“Arrow,†“Superman Returnsâ€); Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Whoâ€); Caity Lotz (“Arrowâ€); Ciarra Renee (“Pippinâ€); Franz Drameh (“Edge of Tomorrowâ€); with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,†“Prison Breakâ€); and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,†“Prison Breakâ€).
