The coronavirus panic continues to grow and affecting all kind of things around the world. Some of the most notable events and films postponed are Emerald City Comic Con, which was moved to the summer. MGM’s James Bond film No Time to Die‘s release was moved to November and even Coachella was moved to October. Here in the United States I think it’s quite the overreaction, there are many other things killing Americans that are not named coronavirus. In other countries, that is a different story. Places like China and Italy are really having a hard time controlling the spread of the virus.
Earlier today the government of Prague had closed schools and placed other restrictions on events and travel. This coronavirus concern has now even affected the Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The series had been shooting for months in Atlanta, Georgia but they had a short shoot in Prague that was going to take about a week. According to Deadline, Marvel Studios has shut down production and called everyone home to Atlanta. It is unknown if the series will return to Prague to finish the shoot in the near future, although it seems unlikely.
The series that stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan has been delayed before. They originally had planned to shoot in Puerto Rico back in January. But thanks to a magnitude 6.4 earthquake along the southern coast, they called it off. This was the islands biggest earthquake in a century.

It seems like this Marvel Studios’ series can’t catch a break. It will be interesting to see if they are still able to hold the August release date that they are shooting for. Or if they are going to have to postpone the release. With spring right around the corner and many shows and conventions around the corner, it will be interesting to see what gets cancelled or postponed.
