Jamie Foxx Boards Harmony Korine’s Next
Jamie Foxx has selected his next project, and he’s chosen to work with a provocative filmmaker. The Academy Award winner will star in Harmony Korine’s The Trap. Korine is known for controversial films like Kids and 2012’s Spring Breakers.
Foxx will lead an ensemble cast in what is described a gangster drama. The cast will also include Benicio Del Toro, in what Korine is claiming will be his “most ambitious film to date.” At this time, not much is known about the exact plot of the film, but we know it revolves around gangsters and revenge.
The film is set to go before cameras in early 2015, with principal photography taking place in Miami.
