Imagine a world where the gods humans normally worship have taken a backseat to other more frivolous gods such as Technical Boy, who is literally the Internet personified. Other gods include gods of media and gods of the capitalist market. These are all components of Neil Gaiman’s novel AMERICAN GODS.
Very Soon, Starz will be airing an adaptation of the story, and in advance of SDCC, the official AMERICAN GODS Twitter account has posted a poster with the tagline, “You are what you worship.”
