Remember the romantic subplot from X-Men: First Class between Nicholas Hoult’s Hank McCoy (Beast) and Jennifer Lawrence’s Raven Darkholme (Mystique)? Then do you remember how there was hardly a shred of it referenced when X-Men: Days of Future Past came out last year? Well, those of you who had hoped for some Smurfy blue-on-blue action are in luck!
In this clip from an upcoming blu-ray special edition of X-Men: Days of Future Past, entitled “Beautiful,” we get to see what their reunion looked like behind closed doors. This, and more, will be on display when a new cut of the film is released on blu-ray later this year. Generally nicknamed “the Rogue cut” of the film, because it’ll included the excised sequences that involved Anna Paquin’s Rogue, producer Simon Kinberg says the new release will feature a “distinct film” with “distinct extras” for fans that really want to see everything director Bryan Singer cooked up for the film.
