Who wants to see a Pushing Daisies revival? Okay, sure, the show may not have had the ratings to actually survive for more than two seasons, but it’s become one of those cult hits in the years that have followed. Between its unique premise, whimsical tone, and solid execution, it’s honestly a show that would have been more at home in today’s TV landscape than the late-2000s, and I’d honestly like to see it come back.
Revivals are making bank in today’s world, with shows like Fuller House, Will and Grace, and Roseanne all charming audiences and laughing all the way to the bank. All three have been successful in their own ways, but Roseanne has made an especially big impact, with its recent season having north of 10 million viewers every week (and a premiere north of 18 million). Of course, given the controversy surrounding Roseanne Barr’s tweets (which we won’t delve into her), that show has been canceled.
So what can take it’s place? Hannibal and Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller took to Twitter to express his interest in maybe replacing it with another revival…his own Pushing Daisies.

Okay, I have to say, Mr. Fuller, it does sound opportunistic…but that doesn’t make me any less excited at the prospect of seeing this come to fruition at some point. As I stated above, I think this show was a bit ahead of its time and would love to see what can be done with today’s audiences and a little bit more money to iron out those visual effects.
But would it anywhere near fill the ratings void that Roseanne left? Probably not. But it’s still fun to think about! Would you like to see Pushing Daisies return? Let us know your thoughts down below!
