When the pandemic first hit a couple months back all of the conventions and award ceremonies had to go digital this year. The Emmy’s had to take their award show digital this year and break it up into multiple online events. The main award show took place last month with Dark/Web winning Outstanding Light Direction for a Drama or Digital Drama Series. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards – Digital Dramas will air tonight July 19, 2020 at 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. You can watch the Emmy Awards tonight by clicking the link here.
During this ceremony, we will see if Dark/Web will take home the prize for Outstanding Directing Team for a Digital Drama Series (Mario Miscione, Michael Nardelli, Roxy Shih) and Outstanding Guest Performer in a Digital Drama Series (Rene Heger and Graham Sibly). Obviously, we’re a little biased here given our history of the series, but we wish them all the best. And if you loved the show and want some behind-the-scenes goodness, look no further than an in-depth roundtable from the producers of the show down below!
