Gary Oldman Re-Teams With Joe Wright For Woman In The Window
If you’re looking for a solid upcoming thriller in the near future, The Woman in the Window may be the movie that fits the bill for you. At least that’s the hope, as sometimes there’s no telling. But as of this writing, the studio seems to be getting all the right people for this very job, and the latest development should bode well for the movie ahead.
According to THR, Gary Oldman will be joining the production of the film, who will play the father of the mysterious family the lead character is watching over.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by A.J. Finn, and follows a woman with agoraphobia who spies on her neighbors from her window. She ends up spying on a neighboring family when she witnesses something she really should not have.
The Woman in the Window stars Amy Adams in the title role and is set to be directed by Joe Wright, who collaborated with Oldman recently in the Winston Churchill picture Darkest Hour. Given its influences of movies like Rear Window and its overall pedigree thus far, this is one project I’ll be keeping my eye on in the near future.
