Women account for nearly 70 percent of toy purchases but only represent 29 percent of the industry’s C-Suite roles. One of the largest toy companies, Hasbro, expects to change that trend.
Hasbro continues with its global competition in the second year as part of Hasbro’s Women Innovators of Play Challenge.
Ideas submitted by women will be judged on innovation, mass marketability, fun factor and playability, and design and aesthetics manufacturability.
Hasbro’s Women Innovators of Play Challenge winners will earn a $10,000 cash prize, mentorship, and a trip to Hasbro World Headquarters in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for a “Day at Hasbro.”
