Writer/director James Gunn confirmed over the weekend he has finished casting for his reboot-type-thing The Suicide Squad. Having already established himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the mastermind behind the fantastic Guardians of the Galaxy films Gunn ,a franchise in which he will be returning to cap off the trilogy, Gunn is no stranger to handling teams of superheroes, or in the case of The Suicide Squad villains.
Gunn was asked on Reddit if he had completed assembling his team to which Gunn simply replied, “Yessssss.” Is casting news for the film is our future? Only time will tell but for now you can check out the exchange between Gunn and some fans below.

While Gunn is making some changes, Jai Courtney will once again play Captain Boomerang, and Margot Robbie is set to return as Harley Quinn, with Viola Davis reprising her role as Amanda Waller Confirmed new cast members are David Dastmalchian who will be playing Polka-Dot Man. Other than that, just rumors really with names like John Cena being thrown around.
Gunn is now playing is both major comic book worlds, He now heads over to DC, which while on the upswing, are much more troubled waters than the playground of the MCU.
