Jon Favreau On The Possibilty Of Another Iron Man Film

With the events that transpired in Avengers: Endgame, fans are wondering if Iron Man is really, truly, gone forever. If you’ve seen the film, and why would you click on this article if you haven’t, you know that Tony Stark left the Marvel Cinematic Universe in epic fashion, wielding the infinity gauntlet to set things right in the universe.

Writer/Director Jon Favreau, who directed the first Iron Man film, as well as making his first appearance as the MCU character Happy Hogan, recently spoke wit ScreenRant and was asked if there were any plans for another Iron Man film, you can check out what he had to say below.

“We haven’t talked about 4. I’ve talked to Kevin about it to see what they’re up to, but we definitely love working together and we love these characters. So we talk about what it would be, and we always joke about the ‘Freak’ storyline, which is a Happy Hogan storyline when he turns into a Hulk-like character. We joke about that, though, no plans as of yet.”

I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of that storyline with Hogan going Hulk, what I can say is that I would absolutely watch it, unfortunately, Favreau appears to be (at least mostly) joking.

There are ways of bringing Iron Man back to the MCU, he could always appear in the form of a hologram he made long ago, and of course through the use of time-travel. An all-new Iron Man film would be slightly more difficult, but I’m sure something could be worked out.

Should Tony Stark return to the MCU at some point, Or should be stay gone? Let us know in the commentw down below!
