A new show from the Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon.
Changes are coming to Animation Domination on FOX. Since the Disney acquisition of FOX’s entertainment branch, the network has been going through changes. These changes can be seen in a handful of new series on Sunday night. Within the last year Bless the Harts and Duncanville premiered to generally good reviews. Deadline reported that Dan Harmon will develop a new show for FOX scheduled to air spring 2022. This will join two previously announced series in development, The Great North and Housebroken.

There is not much known about the type of show Harmon will create for FOX. From Community to Rick and Morty Harmon has a certain style of humor that will carry over to this new show. Despite having a 70-episode contract for Rick and Morty both show creators appear to be setting their sights past the popular Adult Swim show. Dan Harmon follows Justin Roiland in having a notable new series, Solar Opposites, other than Rick and Morty.
Fox has had many animations series come and go over the years finding success in a handful. The animation side of FOX is currently anchored by The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers. All these long-running FOX series are no longer FOX properties. It seems inevitable that the House of Mouse will take these properties to their streaming services. If a handful of these new series pans out Animation Domination will look drastically different in the coming years.
