With NEXON’s highly successful anime-style RPG Blue Archive, fans are eager for its newest IP and latest offering, currently called Project RX.
During the panel at Anime Expo 2026, Project RX executive producer Cha Min-seo (former PD of Blue Archive) took the stage with other Blue Archive developers to discuss this new, mysterious project.
However, the Project RX portion of the panel was a big tease, as the NEXON developers are very tight-lipped about the video game and are not to reveal anything specific at this time.
One of the biggest discussions and reveals about the game is that Project RX is not the final name. The game’s title is currently under discussion and awaiting approval. A developer on the panel said the name will be a single-word title.
The details revealed previously described the game as an immersive 3D “subculture” slice-of-life and isekai-style adventure. It blends cozy, everyday character interactions with fantasy combat and cinematic skill effects.

The developer said that in the coming months there will be hints about the game and gameplay at certain events, including Anime Expo 2026. He told the audience to visit the NEXON booth during the convention, where there is an interactive game with some of the women from Project RX.
At this live, interactive booth, four characters from Project RX appear on a large screen in a living room: Minieh, Merling, Shami, and Ohana. A microphone setup is available for the interactor, who can select one of the four characters to interact with. After the selection, the interactor will play a single game of rock-paper-scissors. It is unknown at this time how this game is involved with Project RX, though the developer has hinted it is. But the character design and background do certainly showcase the look and feel of the video game.
The game will be available on the PC, console and mobile.
Prior to Anime Expo 2026, a teaser trailer for Project RX was released. For now, check out the teaser trailer as we await more hints.
