The most impressive fourteenth season of the CW Network’s Supernatural is now underway. The elder Winchester brother Dean is currently inhabited and controlled by the archangel Michael, who is putting a plan into action to build an army of monsters. but Eugenie Ross-Leming, an executive producer on Season 14 says that while Dean/Michael is the big bad of the moment, it won’t be this way all season.

“Everybody has to find a way to undo Michael, who’s the super villain as we start out the year, but will not be the primary villain”

This probably doesn’t come as a huge shock to fans of the show, as the Winchester brothers never stay separated for too long. The show always returns to its main idea of two siblings hunting monsters. Dean should be back to his old self in no time. As for who the new villain will be, your guess is as good as mine, I will say that I think it will be a villain we have seen previously that is getting a second chance, and not a new character.

One thing I have always appreciated about Supernatural is that the show digs deep for lore and myth. Trying to keep things fresh and interesting on a show that has been on the air for as long as Supernatural has is no easy task, and all things considered I think they have done quite well over the years in doing so.

Who do you think the villain will be? Let us know in the comments down below!
