Quentin Tarantino continues to round out the cast for his next opus, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is set to work as one big homage to cinema in 1969 — when the world was on the verge of changing. All the while, it will also somehow incorporate the likes of Charles Manson and Sharon Tate into the mix in a stew that only Tarantino could pull off. It’s an interesting concept, and as expected, Tarantino is moving forward with an interesting cast.
Now, the auteur has locked down a few more names for the movie. According to Deadline, Lena Dunham, Austin Butler, Maya Hawk, and Lorenza Izzo have all joined the cast of the film. You may recognize Dunham, as she hit it big with her TV show Girls. Austin Butler was the lead actor in the Shannara Chronicles series, and even played a role in Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers. Maya Hawk may not be a familiar name, but she’s actually the daughter of Ethan Hawk and Tarantino alum Uma Thurman. She will also be introduced in Stranger Things for its third season. Finally, we have Lorenza Izzo, who has starred in many smaller films like The Green Inferno, The Stranger, Sex Ed, and Knock Knock. She will also be appearing in the upcoming Jack Black Film, The House with the Clock in its Walls.

This continues Tarantino’s interesting approach to acting. Rarely one to go with the typical cast, he tends to cast new or unexpected faces as well as old veterans who have fallen out of the business. Even odder, he has a tendency to do inadvertent stunt casting (Hi, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum), so it’s kind of hard to tell just how big a role anyone will have.
These four will be joining Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.
