Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an amazing film. The second I saw the trailer, I had a feeling we were in for something special. Visually, it was a stunner, but even at a story level, it was almost perfect in my eyes. Finally, it featured what many consider to be one of the most perfect Stan Lee cameos, with him playing a shop owner where Miles gets his Spidey costume.
In just a couple lines they were able to get across two important aspects of Lee as a person: his ability to inspire and his ability to make fans laugh. It’s not an easy thing to accomplish, but the movie did so gorgeously. But it turns out that’s not the only cameo he had. There have been some people out there who have noticed another caeo. Well, as it turns out, there were apparently DOZENS of cameos out there, as revealed by one of the film’s producers, Chris Miller on Twitter.

To all those who got excited about the #SpiderVerse hidden 2nd Stan Lee cameo on the train: Stan is all over the movie, dozens of times.

Well, I can’t wait for this movie hit Digital, because the very second it does, I’ll certainly be poring over my copy for the smallest indication of a cameo. It must’ve been pretty fun for them too. Unlike with live-action films, once you make a Stan Lee model, you can pretty much reuse as many times as you want, so it’s the easiest thing in the world to insert him wherever.
