Tom Holland has been riding solo on the Uncharted train for some time. Directors have cycled in and out, and from what we’ve heard, Holland even used his involvement as leverage in hopes of getting Sony to play nice with Disney again regarding Spider-Man in the MCU. Last we heard, Bumblebee’s Travis Knight was on board to direct the Nathan Drake vehicle…but now we have another big cast member.
Variety is reporting that Mark Wahlberg is in talks to star alongside Holland in Sony’s adaptation of the hit adventure video game franchise. Wahlberg will be playing Victor “Sully” Sullivan, who is a friend and mentor to Nathan Drake, played by Holland.
