David Tennant was a pretty good villain as Kilgrave in Netflix’s Jessica Jones. It wouldn’t be long before he would take another villainous role.
Tennant stars in director Dean Devlin’s thriller Bad Samaritan as Cale Erendreich, a mysterious kidnapper who was discovered by two burglars in his home.
The film also stars Kerry Condon (Rome), Robert Sheehan (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) and Carlito Olivero (East Los High). The screenplay is written by Brandon Boyce (Let The Right One In TV series) and directed by Devlin, marking this as his newest feature film since the giant sci-fi spectacle Geostorm from last year.
Here’s the synopsis:
Bad Samaritan is a terrifying cautionary tale of two thieves uncovering more than what they bargained for when breaking into a house they thought would be an easy score. After making a shocking discovery, they must choose to run and hide, or face the killer whose dark secrets they have exposed.
The film is scheduled to be in theaters on March 30.
