Captain Marvel is going to be the next MCU movie to hit theaters early next year, closely followed by Avengers 4. At this point we have next to nothing officially released for Captain Marvel, not even an official photo of actor Brie Larson in costume.
Sure, there have been some leaked BTS photo’s from the production that have found their way online, but other than that we have been left using comic images (like above) and fan art.

Well something official is finally coming today, though what exactly that will be isn’t clear. Marvel have teamed with EW to bring something to fans worldwide from the upcoming movie. The Captain herself Brie Larson took to Twitter to tease something involving EW, with the outlet responding that it would be arriving at Noon today (ET, so that’s 5pm my time across the pond). Here is the Twitter exchange below.
Yes! Meet us here at noon ET. We’ve got something Marvel-ous in mind. 😉

So we don’t have too long to wait now, to see just what Marvel-ous thing they have in mind. Fans and my fellow LRM colleagues have been speculating on what this may be, with some hoping we get our first teaser trailer.
My own thoughts (and I hope I’m wrong) are that this is more likely a BTS/preview piece with insights from the production team and some official photo’s. Either way, at this point I would be happy having just one official image of Larson in full costume that we can use for our thumbnails, but who knows what details will emerge.
Rest assured if you can’t check out the source, the LRM team will be right on this when it drops and doing our best to share any revelations that result. Check back later, hopefully for some Captain Marvel goodies.
