Earlier this year, we found out that Tim Burton is directing and producing the Netflix series, Wednesday, about The Addams Family character, Wednesday Addams. We will be following her in this eight episode series next year. Now, Burton has chosen a composer for the theme of Wednesday, Danny Elfman!
Are we really surprised Tim Burton brought on Danny Elfman? These two are like peanut butter and jelly. It’s obvious they go so well together and they’ve worked on so many projects together like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, and Beetlejuice. The only more iconic duo in film and film music may be George Lucas and John Williams. However, you could argue Spielberg and Williams. Regardless, Williams is the man! Elfman will be creating more music for the show, as well, with Chris Bacon.
Wednesday’s Synopsis
Wednesday Addams misadventures as a student at Nevermore Academy: a very unique boarding school snuggled in deepest New England.
Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
