Gerard Butler Back For ‘Night Had Fallen’ Fourth In Franchise

Fans of Gerard Butler and The Fallen franchise can rejoice because the latest installment was just announced at the American Film Market. This will be the fourth installment of the Olympus Has Fallen action franchise.
In the announcement Ric Roman Waugh will direct Night Has Fallen. Waugh will reunites will Gerard Butler with the creative team behind Angel Has Fallen.

The first in the series Olympus Has Fallen took the film industry by storm launching two more successful movies London Has Fallen, and Angel Has Fallen.

The latest film in the franchise reunites many of the creative team from Angel, inducing Waugh and screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen. Producing are G-BASE’s Alan Siegel and Gerard Butler, Eclectic Picture’s Heidi Jo Markel, Les Weldon and Millennium Media’s Jeffrey Greenstein, Jonathan Yunger, and Yariv Lerner.

The movies focus on Secret Service agent Mike Banning, who has to protect the President of The United States against terrorist organizations trying to disrupt the free world.

The Fallen franchise has become one of the biggest franchises for Millennium Studios, which has previously produced The Expendables  and The Mechanic franchises.
