Meet the “we-wives” from Maple Brook, Texas in the new Netflix series The Hunting Wives. Based on the novel by the same title written by May Cobb. Starring Dermot Mulroney, Malin Akerman, Brittany Snow and Jackie Dallas. Dallas brings “Jia-Yi” who will deliver the unexpected to the Maple Brooks locals.
The Synopsis
The Hunting Wives is a racy drama that follows newcomer Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow, “Pitch Perfect”) as she becomes entranced with Margo Banks (Malin Åkerman, “Watchmen”), a seductive socialite, and her exclusive circle of affluent girlfriends, known as the Hunting Wives, in a small East Texas town. Underneath the Southern charm lies a world of temptation and dangerous liaisons. Margo’s magnetic charm and the group’s intoxicating allure awaken Sophie’s dormant passions, leading her down a treacherous path lined with jealousy, deadly suspicion, and murder.

Before there was acting for Jackie Dallas she was a medical school student. After graduating is when she decided to give acting a glance. She may have left the medical career full time but she advocates the ongoing funding and awareness for female urogynecology research. Now Dallas is known for Stranger Things, The Winchesters and Dark Matter. A Summer’s Tale and Designed by Preeti are a couple of her upcoming projects.
