Marvel Studios Unveils Exciting Lineup Of Films And Series At D23 Brazil Event

Marvel Studios thrilled fans at this year’s D23 Expo in Brazil, delivering first looks, exclusive trailers, and exciting news about the upcoming phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on both the big screen and Disney+.

The event kicked off with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige celebrating the unprecedented success of Deadpool & Wolverine. Feige expressed gratitude to fans for their support, as the film achieved a record-breaking run at the global box office. The movie, starring and produced by Ryan Reynolds, will be available on Disney+ starting November 12, accompanied by a special message from Reynolds himself.

Fans also received a glimpse of the much-anticipated Captain America: Brave New World, which sees Anthony Mackie’s debut as Captain America on the big screen. Mackie was joined by Danny Ramirez, who returns as the Falcon. The pair introduced an action-packed clip and new trailer to a roaring crowd, with the movie set for a theatrical release on February 14, 2025. The latest trailer, poster, and exclusive film stills are now available online.

David Harbour took the stage to introduce Thunderbolts, where he returns as Red Guardian alongside Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. Pugh, though unable to attend, sent a heartfelt greeting to fans. Thunderbolts, opening in theaters May 2, 2025, assembles Marvel’s most unpredictable misfits for an action-adventure unlike any before. The first trailer and film stills are now live.

The excitement continued with a first look at Fantastic Four: First Steps, which brings Marvel’s iconic First Family to life in a stylized, retro-futuristic 1960s-inspired world. Audiences at D23 Brazil were treated to an exclusive preview, generating high anticipation for the film’s July 25, 2025 release.

Marvel’s animated division also shared a slate of new content. Brad Winderbaum introduced a preview reel of Marvel Animation’s upcoming projects, including the third and final season of What If…?. This season, debuting December 22, explores bold, alternate realities that see Marvel’s beloved characters take surprising paths, bringing fresh twists and visual spectacles. The trailer drops Monday, November 11.

Fans were also introduced to Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, a fresh, animated take on Peter Parker’s journey to becoming Spider-Man, set to stream on Disney+ starting January 29, 2025. The series promises a unique art style that pays homage to Spider-Man’s comic book roots.

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made a surprise appearance, fueling excitement for Daredevil: Born Again, premiering March 4, 2025, on Disney+. Cox returns as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer with heightened abilities, while D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk pursues new political ambitions in New York, setting up an intense clash between the two.
