We’re spoiled. There’s no denying it. Marvel Studios has spoiled us in how they gave us an unprecedented slate of films that spanned three years and 10 films (though it was originally announced without Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp and with Inhumans). For a good number of years, we’ve known exactly where the universe was headed, and with the exception of a couple additions, one subtraction, and some minor date shuffling, that’s what we’ve gotten.
Now, the MCU is headed to the black hole known as Phase 4. We know that Spider-Man: Far From Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are in it, but apart from some minor details, there are still a lot of unknowns on the horizon. So when will Marvel Studios put an end to this speculation and just give us a Phase 4 slate already? Why don’t they just tell us?
“It’s one film at a time. Between Captain Marvel finishing in two weeks, Spider-Man starting in two weeks, Avengers 4 post getting underway right now, releasing this movie… That’s keeping us busy over the next year.”

But are they thinking about how best to present things after Avengers 4?
“Marketing’s coming up with all sorts of things. How to debut [those plans], how to debut Captain Marvel, lots of opportunities for fun, exciting stuff coming up. And after Avengers 4, being less cagey about it.”
So as expected, you can pretty much look to around this time next year as the grand reveal of Phase 4. Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to release in July of next year, and with that in mind, I’d be surprised if we didn’t get a full slate reveal a month or two before then.
