In a recent article Matt Reeves talks about The Batman Part 2 script status and says talks have begun on The Penguin Season 2. Speaking with now fellow director and cast member of The Batman Zoe Kravitz, via Variety, the pair talked extensively in directing. However, Zoe did ask Reeves about The Batman Part 2.
“Yeah, we’re finishing the script. We’re going to be shooting next year,” Reeves Said.
He also had some more news about a possible The Penguin Season 2.
“Yeah, we’re talking to [showrunner] Lauren [LeFranc] about doing another season. That was a special experience. I just feel really fortunate. These characters don’t belong to me; they belong to the world. It comes down to whether you can approach them in a way that expresses something personal.”

I really would love to see a second Season of The Penguin. Only if it it’s as good as the first season was though. It should not be made because it was a success, but because they have a great idea. Which echoes what LeFranc herself had to say about the possibility.
As for The Batman Part 2, well far as we know Gunn or Peter Safran have yet to see the script. With the movie shooting next year I guess Reeves needs to get it finished relatively soon.
