Rob Terry Is Pumped To Talk About Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life [Exclusive Interview]

Rob Terry is no dumbbell, he’s a role model.

 Standing at 6’5’ and weighing in at 300 pounds, Rob Terry is one of the biggest natural athletes in the world.  Not many people can achieve the body of a mythological Greek God but Terry has found a way, and it’s without using any performance-enhancing drugs.  Instead he uses focus, determination, and is committed to pushing his body to extreme limits to achieve astonishing results.  With this disciplined way of thinking Terry has transformed into a modern day Terminator with muscles of steel, a heart of gold, and an iron will.

 

Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life by Vlad Yudin is the fourth installment in this bodybuilding documentary series. The film takes an inside look at the world of all-natural bodybuilding and features insights from former American Gladiator Mike O’Hearn and other professionals in the sport. Bodybuilders are often unfairly targeted for abusing steroids and this documentary dispels that myth. The film focuses on athletes Rob Terry, Tiffany Stosich, Alondra Chatman, Philip Ricardo Jr., Adrian Pietrariu and Christopher Oketch.  Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life follows their journey in their personal lives and in the gym as they flex their way to the top to compete for the Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association title of Mr. & Ms. Natural Olympia.

I had a zoom call with two-time Natural Mr. Olympia and TNA wrestling champion Rob Terry.   We discussed the documentary and bodybuilding and how he is able to balance working full time as a firefighter, being a dedicated father and a family man, all while making gains at the gym.  He also talked about what kind of music gets him pumped up and the tests he takes to prove he is not using anabolic steroids and altering his genetics. We reminisce about the 1980’s action movie stars and wrestlers that inspired him to get into the sport of bodybuilding and achieve the enormous mass and perfectly proportioned beautiful physique he has today.
