Spider-Man Star Pleads With Kevin Feige To Be In WandaVision – It’s A Bit Late!

Spider-Man is officially back in the MCU for at least two more movies. Though who knows what further deals can be struck between Sony and Disney going forward? For now, though, we know we are getting at least one more Spider-Man solo movie and one team-up movie featuring the wall-crawler. Someone might want to clue Spider-Man star Tom Holland in on what exactly that deal covers. The star recently made a plea for Kevin Feige to include him in WandaVision, check it out.

“I think the WandaVision show looks really cool. I don’t really know what it’s about and it looks very stylistic, it almost looks like a bit of a sitcom with the way they’ve shot it.” Holland told MTV News recently. He then went on to ask Feige if he could feature in the show “I don’t really understand what is going on but it looks really cool. Paul and Elisabeth are like two of the nicest people I know and I would love to work with them some more and get to know them a little bit better. So if I could put Spider-Man in the WandaVision show that’d be great Kevin Feige, so if you want to do that you know my number.”

The thing is Tom, it’s a bit late. WandaVison is already well underway with production and if Tom hasn’t had the nod yet, it’s not happening. It would be very late in the day to suddenly add in Spider-Man to a show already filming without him. That’s not even mentioning the fact that the Sony deal doesn’t allow Spider-Man to appear in WandaVision anyway.

I have the feeling that this particular request from Holland is going to fall on the deaf ears of Kevin Feige. I would be shocked if somehow Tom Holland ended up in WandaVision at this late stage of the production. Still, I guess there’s no harm in Holland asking is there? I do find this one a little naïve of Holland but then, he is only a puppy isn’t he? Though I suppose he may be throwing that out there in hopes of a second season, which doesn’t seem likely based on what we’ve seen.

Oh well, we still have a bit more Spider-Man to look forward to. It does, however, make you wonder how much better things would be if Marvel didn’t have to worry about Sony? Maybe in some other multiverse reality of Earth, Sony doesn’t exist as a studio? Can I switch realities?

Let us know what you think of Holland’s comments in the usual places below?
