Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer To Premiere Tomorrow!
There’ve been a lot of rumors surrounding when to expect the first full-length Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer. Last week, it was leaked that theaters were prepping for next week, but nothing official, until today.
Lucasfilm has finally announced that the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will debut on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” on Monday, October 9, during halftime of the National Football League (NFL) game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears in Chicago. The game starts at 5:15 p.m. PDT/8:15 p.m. EDT.
Following the trailer launch, tickets to the highly anticipated cinematic event will be on sale everywhere movie tickets are sold. So the second that trailer launches, get ready for the movie theaters’ sites to crash.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the second film in the sequel trilogy that started with 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It will see the continuing adventures of Rey, Finn, Poe, and the rest, as well as the return of the legend that is Luke Skywalker. With this being the second film in the franchise, there’s a lot of pressure things to get deeper and darker. We’ll have to see if the movie ultimately lives up to the big name of The Empire Strikes Back, which is widely seen as the gold standard for sequels, especially for Star Wars films.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in U.S. theaters on December 15.
