Star Wars TV Show: Photo Shows First Sets Being Built As Production Readies
Over the weekend we got out first set photos from John Favreau’s new Star Wars live-action TV show. Now before we get too excited here, as far as we know, they don’t even have a cast in place yet. It seems as if this is them just getting the first sets in place before filming actually begins. Still, I would expect to start hearing about casting soon, as if they are building sets, they must be getting ready to start filming sooner rather than later.

We still have no details around the plot of this TV show, all we know is that the time period is post Return of the Jedi. so there are plenty of possibilities here. The set photo looks like something we’d expect to see at Mos Eisley, but then that’s probably just our minds associating Star Wars with Tattooine, it could be a completely different planet.

The report from Making Star Wars does speculate that the show may revolve around a group of Mandalorians struggling to find their place in the universe post Empire. I’m not sure about whether that sounds like a good idea for a show, but we also don’t really know how much faith to put in this rumor yet?
I do hope we get a proper title for the show soon as calling it the Star Wars TV Show makes me think of The Muppets. If the sets are going up I expect production to start within a month at most, which means we should be getting some casting details soon, fingers crossed.
Let us know what you think of the set photo and the rumored basic plot. Sound off in the usual place below.
