The Equalizer 2 Trailer: Denzel Is Back In His First Sequel!

Denzel Washington is well known for his countless iconic roles from movies like Glory, Malcolm X, and Training Day. And yet despite how long the man has been in the business, he hasn’t done one specific thing: made a sequel. That’s right, never before has he been in a film with the number two in it, and given the high quality of the majority of his films, we can see that it hasn’t exactly set him back in his career.

However, with The Equalizer, he seemed to have found something. This was a character with real franchise potential, and given his track record working with director Antoine Fuqua, they moved forward with The Equalizer 2. But would it be any good? The jury is still out on that one, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued by this first violent trailer.

Below is the official synopsis for The Equalizer 2:

“Denzel Washington returns to one of his signature roles in the first sequel of his career. Robert McCall serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed – but how far will he go when that is someone he loves? “

While the trailer has very little actual blood to speak of, it is unquestionably violent. So if you were worried about them pulling back on this for the sake of franchising — worry no more!
