The beloved characters of the Ice Age franchise return in a new installment with The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild to Disney+.
Rather than the familiar mammoths and sabretooth tigers as the character leads, the secondary characters of the animal critters are front and center in the new movie.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild continues the hilarious escapades of the sub-zero heroes as they create more prehistoric pandemonium. Eager for a little independence, the thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own but soon find themselves trapped beneath the ice in a massive cave inhabited by dinosaurs. They are rescued by one-eyed, adventure-loving weasel Buck Wild, and together, with the help of some new friends, embark on a mission to save the Lost World from dinosaur domination.
The film features the voices of Simon Pegg (Mission Impossible – Fallout), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Free Guy), Justina Machado (One Day at a Time), Vincent Tong (Ninjago), and Aaron Harris. John C. Donkin (Ice Age: Continental Drift producer) directed the movie from a script written by Jim Hecht (Ice Age: The Meltdown), Ray DeLaurentis (Fairly Odd Parents), and Will Schifrin (Bunsen is a Beast) from the story by Jim Hecht.

Ever since Disney purchased Blue Sky Studios, the company folded with its employees into Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar. It was seen initially as the end of the Ice Age and Rio franchises. So it’s good to hear that they’re keeping these animated films alive since it was fairly successful outside of previous Disney influence.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild premieres on Disney+ on January 28. The entire collection of Ice Age films is currently available on Disney+ today.
