The Twilight Zone Trailer Will Make You Want CBS All Access

I hate CBS All Access. I’m not going to be around the bush. Sure, the network CBS does very well for itself, but I don’t think it’s ever made enough original content to justify the price tag. I’m not a huge Star Trek fan, and other than that property, I see no reason for anyone to shell out the extra dough for this thing.

That may change today. For months I’ve been begrudgingly reporting on all the content they’ve been sending over to their streaming service, and one that caught my attention from day one has been The Twilight Zone. Not only is it an amazing original series that still holds up today, but it also involves Jordan Peele, writer and director of Get Out. How can you NOT be down for that?

This trailer is full of all sorts of goodness. First off, it features a pretty solid cast of actors like Adam Scott, John Cho, Tracy Morgan, Greg Kinnear, and Kumail Nanjiani, among others. Second, there are a few nods to classic episodes of the series, such as the predicting machine in the episode “Nick of Time.”

If you’re a fan of the original series like me, you may find yourself tempted to dig into your wallet for the service…though I may wait to see if it gets a physical release…on principle alone. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments!
