Yep, The Office Will Leave Netflix In 2021

Fans of NBC’s The Office got the wosrtnews concerning the show since it was anouncd the show would end after nine seasons. It turns out the rumors of the show leaving Netflix are true. NBC Universal will pull the show from the streaming giant in 2021 in order to present it through their own streaming service which is said to launch next year.

It will be interesting to see the effect this will have on Netflix as the show as according a /Film  The Office made up for 3% of Netflix’s total viewing, which doesn’t sound like a lot but comes out to around 52 billion minutes. Netflix posted the news on their Twitter account you can check it out below.

I’ve always enjoyed the show and still use it as the go to show when others are on hiatus, or put it on to fall asleep to like some kind of sitcom lullaby. The show’s following hasn’t diminished very much since it went off the air in 2013. I am in two The Office fan groups on Facebook, and Ive seen the show a few times though, not sure how many, but it’s not close to the 20 plus times that some members claim. There are just too many good shows out there to explore, but to each their own.
