Video Game ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell’ to Be Adapted Into a Movie

After Ubisoft’s impressive presentation at this month’s E3 conference, the video game company is still gaining a lot of buzz lately.

Deadline has reported a few movie studios are in talks recently to adapt Ubisoft’s “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell” video game on to the big screen.

The site declared that Paramount Pictures is the frontrunner, but Warner Brothers Pictures is also in the conversation.

The video game series is about an agent Sam Fisher that uses his stealth tactics and espionage techniques to eliminate his opponents. He is recruited as an agent in a government agency Third Echelon.

There were several Splinter Cell video games in the series, including the latest of “Splinter Cell: Conviction.” At the Microsoft press conference at E3, Ubisoft announced “Splinter Cell: Blacklist” video game will integrate the Kinect technology.
