JURASSIC WORLD came out last year and promptly took over the planet earth. And, as is often the case when something conquers a planet, it downright demanded that a sequel enter production. There hasn't been much in the way of news for the follow-up the film that relaunched the JURASSIC PARK franchise, but star Bryce Dallas Howard just let slip a few character details.
During a recent interview, she was asked a couple of softball questions- like if her character's infamous white heels were going to make another appearance- and she took the time to answer what's up with "Claire" on a deeper level.
Not only was she adamant that the heels were a thing of the past, and that they shall remain part of JURASSIC WORLD and not its sequel, but she also said:
"Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end… totally different. So yeah… it better not be heels."
So it certainly sounds like the sequel will continue the evolution of Claire, and not just give way to more shtick about her being a very prim, proper stick in the mud to contrast against Chris Pratt's rugged, rough-edged wild man.
