The roster for the Legends of Tomorrow is constantly fluctuating. With deaths hitting left and right, people joining, betraying, leaving, and everything in-between, it’s certainly helped make things more interesting.

We recently learned that Victor Stein (a.k.a. half of Firestorm) will be leaving this season, so it’s nice to know they’re already starting to pad out the roster. The latest trailer for the upcoming episode, “Zari,” shows the team tacking the impressive hacktivist, and Heat Wave is incredibly impressed with her rap sheet.

The official synopsis is below:

“OUTLAWS — When Sara (Caity Lotz) receives a distress call from their “befriended” agent at the Time Bureau, she learns that they have been tasked with going to the future to capture a rogue time traveler. Unfortunately, the Legends make things worse by trying to protect an outlaw named Zari (Tala Ashe), to hopefully lure in the time travelling assassin. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to diagnose Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) condition, but Nate (Nick Zano) discovers an unusual treatment that Amaya begrudgingly agrees to.”

With the team’s numbers always waxing and waning, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out, how’s around for the long haul on the Legends team, and just where this is all leading.

Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW

Never heard of her. Why cant they put on more B list heroes or villians.

I can’t figure why DC TV doesn’t introduce the Spectre.

  • jonathing

nope can’t place her from the comics

  • Weresmurf

Wait, are they just creating someone instead of using a character from the comics??? If so, that’s redundant.

Her character is Zari Adrianna Tomaz. I had to Google her, but she DOES exist in DC comics.

There are also a few issues which I’m sure they’ve tackled in their interpretation of the character..

For example, in the comics Adrianna Tomaz grabs a magic amulet and says “I am Isis” to activate her Shazam-related powers. There are so many problems with that sentence, I don’t know where to begin.

For one, magic amulets kind of tread on Vixen ground. Two, in the show, Zari is a Muslim-American, which means having her gain superpowers by loudly proclaiming “I Am Isis” might not come across the right way. Three, the Shazam connection will probably be played down.

So, looks like they’ll just have change everything about her. No problem.

So, you’re saying people are stupid.
