Michael Bay Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT With His Selfie Stick

More often than not, movie sets tend to be uncomfortable and hot (or cold). To make matters worse, you often spend most of your time sitting around waiting for someone else to do their job, but at the end of the day, it’s all a part of the process of filmmaking. As such, there’s definitely something magical about the whole process. You can take a rather dull, grimy set, and literally show it to the audiences through a different lens — all in favor of the story you’re trying to tell.

It’s one of the reasons movie fans are so keen to learn every detail about the movies they love. They want to see what the experience was like while in process, and how it was transformed for audiences before their very eyes. Evenif you’re not a fan of the TRANSFORMERS films, you have to admit there’s some serious talent behind the camera on a technical level — talent that’s worth seeing in action.

In a recent post from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT director Michael Bay, the director literally guided Facebook fans around the set for a good ten minutes with the selfie stick. There’s nothing incredibly “sexy” or crazy going on in the video, but if you’re the type of fan who loves to get that true-to-reality feel for a film set, this is a great watch.

What’d you think of the video? Admittedly, I’m kind of a nut for these kinds of things. Give me one of these over a well-produced documentary any day of the week, and I’m all for it. Too often is the world of Hollywood glamorized that it’s often overlooked how grueling and tedious the work really is, and this clip shows that aspect very well. TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
