Stranger Things has been massive for Netflix in its first two seasons and the development of Season 3 is well underway.
Now Variety reports that actress Francesca Reale (pictured above) has been cast in a recurring role for the third season of the hit show. The little we know about thew role is that Reale has been cast as Heather, a popular lifeguard at the Hawkins community Pool. Not much else is known, though it is said Heather will be at the center of a ‘dark mystery’.

When it comes to Stranger Things, I have absolutely no idea what the Duffer brothers are dreaming up next. However, on the strength of the first two seasons I am keen to find out.
Francesca Reale previously starred in the Netflix original comedy series Haters Back Off, playing Emily, the younger sister of Miranda Sings’ character.
Previously announced new cast members also include Cary Elwes who plays Mayor Kline and Jake Busey who plays Bruce. Kline is described as handsome, slick, and sleazy. A classic 80’s politician, more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs. Bruce, meanwhile, is a journalist for the The Hawkins Post, with questionable morals and a sick sense of humor.
