As we reported last week, developer Square Enix is currently celebrating 1 million units shipped of Octopath Traveler, their Nintendo Switch-exclusive JRPG that’s been received with much acclaim by both fans and critics. In the tweet we shared, one may have noticed that the shape of the characters’ arrangement in the artwork was a bit…interesting, to say the least.
Then, this past weekend, the official Bravely Default Twitter account posted a new photo, which cast a shadow using that very image to create the familiar silhouette of Airy, who graced the cover of the first Bravely Default game (pictured above).

In the caption, the account tells audiences to look forward to more games from the studio behind Octopath Traveler.

But that wasn’t it. They also changed their name on Twitter to a name that translates to “Bravely ◯◯◯◯◯.” Call me a conspiracy theorist, but if you fill in each of those circles with a letter, you could spell out the name “Bravely Third,” and that would be the perfect sequel name to Bravely Second: End Layer. Then again, that assumes they’d be using English letters, and there’s nothing to assume they wouldn’t use katakana, as that’s how they’ve done it in the past, so it could be wishful thinking. But what do you think?
Am I being too optimistic with my tea-leaves-reading, or does another Bravely game for Switch seem like a possibility to you? Most importantly, do you think it would be on the Nintendo Switch? Let us know down below!
