In the coming age of the Streaming Wars, the most important thing ever won’t necessarily be who has the most content, but who has the hottest content out there. The biggest names. The biggest franchises. The best production values. All of it will contribute to whether or not audiences will consider shelling out a monthly fee for it.
Disney+ has been especially aggressive on that front, with Marvel Studios productions on the way and The Mandalorian ready for launch, competition is starting to get stiff. Other services aren’t rolling over on this either, with HBO Max perhaps being the other biggest competitor outside of Netflix.

Well, according to Variety, it sounds like they may have another big ace up their sleeve. The outlet states that eventually, feature film productions could likely hail from the DC Universe, though it’s unclear in what capacity these movies would tie into the theatrical counterparts.
