Mystery voice in Eternals stinger revealed by director Chloe Zhao. That means Eternals post credit discussion, so this is going to have SPOILERS folks. So just to be clear to explain this reveal by Zhao you need to understand some of what happens in one of Eternals stingers and that’s probably going to mean spoilers for most of the World since the movie just hit theatres. I will however do my best to avoid as many spoilers as I can here. Best I can do.
Eternals Stinger SPOILERS Below.
Speaking with Fandom recently, Eternals director Chloe Zhao revealed a voice that appears from off-screen in one of the movies post-credit stinger. I’ll try not to spoil that scene too much but it involved Dane Whitman, pictured above. Whitman hears a voice, but no one is actually seen on screen. Zhao has confirmed that voice is one Mahershala Ali, aka Blade in the MCU. It’s therefore obviously teasing that Dane Whitman could show up in something with Blade in the future.

Blade is already rumored to make his MCU debut in Moon Knight rather than his own movie. However for all we know, Whitman could join Blade, and Moon Knight for some supernatural adventures later on? For that matter, so could Morbius, as its rumored heavily that Marvel Studios will take control of the next few Sony/Marvel movies, including the next Venom.
“That was the voice of one of my favorite superheroes, Mr. Blade himself. Blade, Blade, Blade, yeah!”
“You just have to wait for it. I don’t know what they’re doing with the movie, but Mahershala is is a treasure. It’s going to be epic.”
Whitman, aka Kit Harrington did not know who that voice belonged to when he filmed the scene. Therefore he was excited when he was told by Zhao.
“It’s really cool. [Chloé] texted me about that a couple of weeks ago and it sort of blew my mind. I didn’t know that that would be the case, so it’s pretty exciting for me.”
Blade, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night (more on him later), Black Knight, and Morbius huh? I think we got a team up movie or show on the horizon. It’s also worth noting that production designer on Morbius and Moon Knight is now signed up for Blade as well. Check that story out courtesy of Geek Vibes Nation.
