First Trailer for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Reverts Storytelling Back to the Kids With Goonies-Vibes

Skeleton Crew creators Jon Watts and Chris Ford reveal an interesting detail about their upcoming Star Wars series, which was then removed.

For years, the old Star Wars fandom has focused on stretching children’s imaginations with space adventures, heroes, and battles. Despite its recent runs of Star Wars series on Disney+, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew now has kids as the lead characters in the live-action series.

Jude Law leads the way as the mysterious character assisting the group of children. The episode also stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Nick Frost. The episodes’ directors include Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung. Jon Watts and Christopher Ford serve as the series’s head writers.

Here is the description of the new Disney+ series:

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.

Disney+ shared its brand with its new trailer and the poster for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. It has familiar vibes with adventure storytelling with the popular Goonies film and the most recent Star Trek animated series Star Trek: Prodigy.
