Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell are currently filming Avengers: Doomsday, plus we have some more Avengers related news alongside todays Barside Buzz. Let’s begin with a rumor that as foretold, Evans and Atwell are currently in London filming scenes for Doomsday. This rumor has been heating up and last week it was Daniel RPK who said they’d be filming this week. Now Daniel says his sources have confirmed filming has begun with the pair.
It’s rumored the scenes being shot will feature Doom coming for Steve and Peggy as we left them at the close of Endgame. Some less reliable leakers claim the set has been completely closed off and protected to stop any images.
Meanwhile Deadline spoke to Alan Cumming about his career and he briefly mentioned work on Doomsday and meeting with Kevin Feige and the Russos. Source link above, but you can get just his Doomsday chat in this repost video below.

Nothing too revealing about what’s to come. However, it’s interesting how he and the likes of Marsden were coaxed back after being very over both roles.

As for whether Val, or Songbird (Mel) will show up in Doomsday or not? CBM spoke to actress Geraldine Viswanathan, but all she would say is this,
“We’ll see! I’m not sure, but as Julie [Louis-Dreyfus] and I have been saying, we’re available, and we’d be happy to.”
Given the New Avengers show up, I’m actually surprised if Val isn’t there at all, but I guess Doomsday is already pretty stuffed. I don’t see any room for Mel in addition to everyone else in the film.
