Prime Video Drops Trailer For Animated Series The Chosen Adventures

Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for its new animated series, The Chosen Adventures, which will debut globally on October 17, 2025. The first season features 14 episodes, each running 11 minutes, and all will be available to stream on premiere day. Produced by 5&2 Studios, the series will stream in the U.S. as well as internationally in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

About the Series

Set in the ancient city of Capernaum, the story follows Abby, a nine-year-old girl, and her best friend Joshua as they navigate childhood in a bustling biblical world. Their lives are transformed when they encounter a kind craftsman and teacher—Jesus of Nazareth—who shifts the way they see life and faith. Adding a playful twist, Abby also has a talking sheep, bringing a mix of lighthearted humor and heartfelt lessons to the series.

Executive producer Dallas Jenkins describes the tone of the show as family-friendly but layered:

“The trailer exemplifies what excites us so much about this show. It’s funny, heartwarming, for adults as well as kids, and it appropriately captures these great stories through the eyes of a child.”
