Check out the new full trailer for Stranger Things 5, as it sets up the final fight for the fate of Hawkins… and the world. Volume 1 of Stranger Things 5 hits Netflix on November 26th. My guess is that the footage shown below as all from that first volume of episodes, but who knows?
Volume 2, consisting of three episodes releases at Christmas, and then the final batch, ever land on New Years Eve.

I’m looking forward to watching this with my family. I think this is the first trailer I’ve ever sent to my daughter to watch and then sat discussing it with her after. She thinks it looks great, but also really scary and sad.
Getting into the weeds a little, I get the feeling that the encounter shown between Vecna and Will happens early on, or else they wouldn’t be showing us it yet. It also looks like Eleven is outside of the military lockdown encompassing Hawkins and breaking back in.

The trailer definitely sets up the team going into the Upside Down to go after Vecna. Yet, we see Vecna invade Hawkins also with an army of Demogorgans. So it’ll be interesting to see how that shakes out. Also, as many fans have pointed out, there’s not much sign of Steve in this trailer. Could that be a hint Steve is an early casualty? I mean, they’re not all living through this one are they?
One thing is for sure, I will be reviewing each Volume as they drop, right here, so check back after you’ve watched them to see what I thought and whether you agree?
