San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Countdown: KAYOU Brings an Immersive Trading Card Experience to SDCC

As our countdown to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 continues, today’s spotlight shifts from comics to collectibles. Making its San Diego Comic-Con debut this year is KAYOU, one of the fastest-growing names in the trading card industry, and the company isn’t just bringing exclusive products—it’s creating an experience designed for collectors and superfans alike.

Running throughout Comic-Con weekend from July 23–26, KAYOU is expanding beyond the convention floor with multiple locations, interactive attractions, and community events that make it one of the more unique activations announced for SDCC 2026.

Known as China’s No. 1 collectibles company, KAYOU will showcase its growing lineup of officially licensed trading cards during its first-ever appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

Convention attendees will be able to shop KAYOU’s products inside the San Diego Convention Center through a featured retail space in partnership with The Shumi Company at Booth #4934.

Whether you’re an experienced collector or someone looking to discover a new hobby, the booth offers an opportunity to explore the company’s expanding catalog of licensed trading cards.

While the convention booth is worth a visit, KAYOU’s biggest attraction may actually be located outside the convention center.

Inside the Interactive Zone at Petco Park (Lexus Premier Parking Lot), fans can experience The KAYOU Walls of Fandom, a free immersive walkthrough celebrating several popular franchises featured across the company’s trading card lineup.

Visitors will journey through themed environments inspired by:

  • Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters
  • My Little Pony
  • Naruto
  • tokidoki

Each installation combines oversized displays, interactive environments, and collectible showcases that highlight the artwork, foil treatments, and craftsmanship behind KAYOU’s trading cards while providing plenty of photo opportunities for fans.

For collectors, it’s a chance to appreciate the cards as both collectibles and pieces of artwork.

KAYOU is also placing a major emphasis on building community during Comic-Con weekend.

Offsite at Tito Rick’s Garage (2918 Imperial Ave.), the company will host fan meetups, trading sessions, and beginner-friendly activities throughout the convention.

Collectors can trade cards with fellow fans, meet other enthusiasts, and even learn how to play the My Little Pony Trading Card Game, making the location a welcoming destination for both longtime hobbyists and newcomers.

One feature that ties KAYOU’s Comic-Con presence together is the SDCC-exclusive Superfan Passport.

Available while supplies last, the passport can be picked up at any of KAYOU’s three activation locations. Fans can collect stamps as they visit each stop and unlock special rewards while exploring everything the company has planned across San Diego.

It’s a fun incentive that encourages attendees to venture beyond the convention floor and experience all of KAYOU’s offerings throughout Comic-Con weekend.

San Diego Comic-Con has become much more than panels and exclusive merchandise. Some of the convention’s most memorable moments now happen at immersive fan activations spread throughout downtown San Diego.

KAYOU appears to be embracing that philosophy with a multi-location experience that combines exclusive shopping, interactive exhibits, community gatherings, and collectible rewards into one cohesive event.

Whether you’re a dedicated trading card collector, an anime fan, a My Little Pony enthusiast, or simply looking for another unique Comic-Con experience, KAYOU’s debut is shaping up to be one of the convention’s hidden gems.

Stay tuned as our San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Countdown continues with another daily look at the panels, exclusives, exhibits, and experiences fans won’t want to miss during this year’s biggest celebration of pop culture.
