The Hunting Wives comes at the perfect time paired with Thanksgiving! Courtesy of Netflix who is bringing us a second season packed with eight episodes. Lionsgate had originally produced The Hunting Wives for Starz before taking back the rights and selling it to Netflix for U.S. distribution. The renewal followed a breakout first run, during which the show stayed in Netflix’s Top 10 English TV shows for five weeks and drew 20 million views.

The Synopsis

At the start of Season 2, Sophie (Brittany Snow, “Pitch Perfect”) and Margo (Malin Akerman, “Watchmen”) are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?

Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit and George Ferrier are back, and the newcomers include John Stamos as Chase Brylan, Dale Dickey as Zelda Moffitt, and Cam Gigandet as Gentle John Moffitt, alongside Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan. Rebecca Cutter, who created the series from May Cobb’s novel, remains showrunner, writer and executive producer, and this season continues the story with original material from Cutter rather than following the book.
